Senior Manager
Scot Pitzer serves as a Senior Manager for Orion Strategies in Harrisburg.
Prior to joining the firm, Pitzer held various roles with the Senate of Pennsylvania over an 11-year period, including legislative and committee duties. Pitzer worked with lawmakers and staff on both sides of the aisle, as well as executive officials and government agencies, to help shape policy and manage communications and research. He also handled constituent services. Before moving into government work, Pitzer was a newspaper reporter for the Gettysburg Times in Adams County.
Pitzer served on the Gettysburg Borough Council from 2014-2017 and held the position of Vice President during his final two years on the board.
Pitzer earned a degree in Mass Communications from Elizabethtown College in 2004. He currently serves on the college’s Alumni Council.
