Director of Research
A meticulous miner of records, Brett extensively researches people, companies, organizations, policies, government regulations and more. He also oversees polling and focus groups for trade associations, energy companies, health care organizations, government agencies, law firms and others, providing the foundations for strategic campaigns.
Deeply curious and highly skilled, Brett finds every detail on a given subject, discovering records others never knew existed and solving the mysteries of people, organizations and policies. He savors the science behind polling and relishes unveiling the full picture that detailed records reveal.
Before joining Orion, Brett worked for nearly 15 years in the Annie Merner Pfeiffer Library at West Virginia Wesleyan College, most recently as its director. He is the archivist for the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and has served on the boards of various historic and civic organizations. He holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and bachelor’s degrees in both music and religion from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
